Middle Farm and Cottages are a family run farm located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the Shropshire Hills. Awarded a Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence (2017 and 2018) Middle Farm offers a luxurious holiday experience, achieving a Gold Award standard year on year. This special, tucked away smallholding is home, not only to three self catering cottages but to rare breed British Lop pigs, critically endangered Soay sheep, a mix of chickens and free to pick, home-grown veg.
The owner felt it didn’t professionally represent themselves or the wonderful uniqueness of the property. It was imperative for the new site to look inviting and attractive for guests to make them want to click the reservation button.
Following some initial consultancy, Cloud Construct worked alongside the owner to develop a shared platform to collaboratively build a website to their exacting standards. The project utilised our expertise in creating secure, maintainable custom WordPress installations with advanced visual elements – whilst being both powerful and simple to administer by the client.
By providing full control to the client they are now able to continuously update the site with special offers, events, change property details or anything else without the need for our aid.
The project ensured a careful migration from the current provider with zero downtime and also included Google Places, Analytics and Console configuration and support.
