Technical Consultancy

Planning a technical project, such as the development of a new website or IT system, can be complex and fraught with problems.

By involving technical experts early in your project you will quickly identify any issues or limitations which will help avoid making potentially expensive mistakes later down the line. It is key to get the right advice from the outset.

At Cloud Construct, we understand the potential pitfalls of bespoke software development and the importance of expert technical understanding as early as possible. For any sizeable IT project, we recommend obtaining at least two comparable quotations along with references for each potential supplier

Our Service

Our consultancy services for a new technology project will provide assistance in three main areas:

  • Initial requirements; we will work with you to develop a technical strategy for your company, which will help you to fully understand what you actually need from a potential supplier. With no vested interest in the final product, we can happily suggest cheaper alternatives or areas for cost savings.
  • Generating requirement/tender document; having worked with you to clarify your requirements, we will produce a technical requirements document containing detailed information and explanation to send to potential suppliers as part of your tender process.
  • Analysing tender/proposal documents; although important, the financial cost is only one factor to consider. Technically understanding supplier proposals to fully evaluate and critique each one is essential. Cloud Construct can provide an objective evaluation of each proposal highlighting any potential issues or risks and an unbiased opinion on which supplier offers the best value.
